Read more Lin Beifan traversed to a world filled with countless nations and masters, becoming the emperor of a nation with the “Empire Sandbox” as his golden finger (Cheat). This “Empire Sandbox” allowed him to mobilize all domestic resources for rational allocation. The stronger the nation became, the stronger he became. In order to become stronger, Lin Beifan did many things that seemed foolish to others.“Your Majesty, the Mo Kingdom is willing to trade the most beautiful woman in their kingdom for an iron mine!”Lin Beifan: “The Mo Kingdom is truly sincere. Let’s trade!”As a result, after the Mo Kingdom acquired the iron mine, it collapsed, burying 200,000 troops!“Your Majesty, the Grand General intends to stage a rebellion!”Lin Beifan: “I admire those with ambition. Let him fight!”As a result, the Grand General’s food supply vanished into thin air. His army starved to death on their way to the Capital City, never making it to battle. In the end, Lin Beifan walked further and further down the path of a foolish emperor, yet the territory kept expanding, the country became stronger, and his harem grew increasingly…Everyone was dumbfounded: “How did such an incompetent ruler become the legendary emperor throughout the ages?” Collapse Aggressive Characters, Arrogant Characters, Assassins, Betrayal, Carefree Protagonist, Childhood Friends, Confident Protagonist, Cruel Characters, Dishonest Protagonist, Empires, Famous Protagonist, Game Elements, Hiding True Abilities, Kingdom Building, Kingdoms, Lack of Common Sense, Male Protagonist, Management, Manipulative Characters, Military, Misunderstandings, Multiple POV, Overpowered Protagonist, Polygamy, Pragmatic Protagonist, Proactive Protagonist, Protagonist Strong from the Start, Royalty, Ruthless Protagonist, Schemes And Conspiracies, Secretive Protagonist, Secrets, Shameless Protagonist, Special Abilities, Strong to Stronger, System Administrator, Transmigration, Transported to Another World, Underestimated Protagonist, Unique Cultivation Technique Hmm, I don't get the novel, so please correct me if I am wrong. He is pretending to be foolish and do stupid shit that makes no sense, that is okay since they don't know he has a system. but why does he have to act foolish for it? I could think of tons of reasons as to why he did these things without needing to mention the system... is it just for "comedy"? I remember the "I Am A Corrupt Official" novel, it has been a while since I read it, but I believe his system didn't let him explain why he was doing these things, and just be corrupt, but here the system mentioned nothing, so he is acting like a retard for absolutely no reason...?Am I missing something? What is the name of the novel where mc is a corrupt official and the empress can read his thoughts when he says the right decisions for various matters in them? Hahaha, were you also interested? Although it has similar aspects to this one, the other novel is much better than this one. At least in the other the empress knows that he is not corrupt as he pretends to be 😂The novel is "I Am A Corrupt Official, Yet They Say I Am A Loyal Minister!"You are welcome ☺️ Is this him? There in the description it was written about reading mc's thoughts by the empress. Acquired Realm: Third-rate, Second-rate, First-rateInnate Realm: True Qi, Astral Qi, Imperial QiCelestial Realm: Grandmaster, Great Grandmaster, Supreme GrandmasterVoid Transcendence Realm: Earthly Immortal It's a pretty good fast food novel; I've read up to 268 chapters. If you enjoyed the author's other novel 'I Am A Corrupt Official, Yet They Say I Am A Loyal Minister!', you'll probably like this one too. However, it's very repetitive, especially in the first 100 chapters.MC's cheat is a sandbox-like system, which he can use to pretty much do anything inside his territory. Such as transforming the natural landscape, changing the weather, and later even Spoilercontrolling all the animals within his territory. The basic strategy of the MC is invading the territories of other kingdoms, making those territories his own, transferring all the natural resources in those kingdoms to his own, and then retreating before the enemy kingdom can mobilize its armies. The other kingdom rapidly declines due to having almost no natural resources allowing the MC to invade it later. Why does the MC not fear the invasion of those kingdoms? Because he's basically a god within his territory. He can open sinkholes, cause earthquakes, etc.The main plot(at least for the first 150 chapters) follows a pattern: MC invades kingdom/dynasty/empire > Kingdom declares war on the MC > MC uses his cheat to transfer all the resources from the enemy kingdom to his kingdom > MC retreats > enemy kingdom rapidly declines because most of their natural resources, grain, etc. is gone > forced to invade the MCs kingdom > entire army dies to sinkhole or whatever else the MC throws at them > The enemy kingdom gets invaded by others > The enemy emperor pays the MC a huge amount of money to safely escape and reside in his kingdom > repeat. This cycle occurs at least 8 times before the author finally decides to stop around 150-200 chapters. Additionally, some plot points are directly copied from the author's other novel, such as the use of cement, locust plague, etc. Also, compared to the start where all his success seemed to be attributed to luck, later the MC is actually respected and hailed as a genius after he introduced modern ideas and innovative systems, which was pretty satisfying. The romance (harem) aspect is minimal and honestly negligible. I didn't hate it, but I didn't particularly like it either. Some might consider it above average.Overall, if you have the time, I recommend giving this novel a try. It's a lighthearted and fun comedy, with the MC facing few major obstacles and everything going quite smoothly for him. I enjoyed witnessing his kingdom transform from barely surviving to one of the most powerful empires, and watching him evolve from a foolish emperor everyone despised and ridiculed to a respected and wise ruler. Also, some of his antics actually made me laugh out loud, which rarely happens, so props for that.I'd rate it 4.5/5 for enjoyment, and 2/5 for the actual writing. Thanks for reading! I forgot to mention, but the MC's name, 'Lin Beifan', is actually the same as in the author's other novel. If that's the author's real name, then this has to be one of the most shameless self-inserts I have ever seen. Trash, not even fast food Is this any good? I dont really like counterintuitive systems that although is beneficial, influences the MC behavior too much 50ish chapters in and its been same thing over and over. MC does "weird" thing and everyone calls him stupid yet MC succeeds due to "dog shit luck" every character is dumbed down to make MC look smart. kingdom building has nothing realistic besides theory. heroines... meh, copy pasted from different novels. ill read up to 100 and see what happens Mtl + Harem=Dangerous Gastro Digestive Poison I never thought he was going to translate this novel, I remember abandoning the novel in the first chapter when I saw xia empire because my resistance to poison wasn't high enough I feel like if I read anymore the little surving braincells won't remain Remember I've seen mount tai and I don not wish to revisit What is it, what is it, I'm hated by everyone in the world, there's no place where I'm not, except in very cold places, because I love the heat, I'm the greatest murderer of all time and the terror of human beings. What am I?The spoiler TAG is so that new people can enjoy and try too, so if you are going to participate, don't touch them if they are not in your comment. The devil? There's some sort of devil in every culture, and the only place where there isn't a devil is Antarctica, because there aren't any humans there to create stories of one. Everyone hates the devil, and Hell, where the devil resides, is where the dead go. It's a stretch but it's the only answer I could think of. Let's stick to reality, mythology and religion are very relative when it comes to subjects like this. My tip, who was the being that killed the most humans in all of history? Imma guess Thomas Midgley Jr, caused a lot of climate changes and lead poisoning Roaches? Or mosquitoes.PS: These riddles are more amusing than some of those horrid jokes that other dude used to do o.o SpoilerYou're right, they're mosquitoes! Housefly or mosquito probably SpoilerYou're right, they're mosquitoes! Time? Death? SpoilerStill very relative, time or death are not beings, but concepts, so they would not meet the requirements! A Virus maybe? COVID? SpoilerIt killed a lot too, but I'm talking about something that killed human beings millennia ago! microbes as in pathogenic ones SpoilerVery extensive, we are talking about one being, not an entire kingdom of species and series! i get your logic man but if you accept misquitos then microbes should also be the answer. then agian its a riddle not a science paper so whatever you say SpoilerMicrobes to reach a multitude of beings. From bacteria, etc. Literally indicates single-celled beings. We're talking about a being that has killed the most humanity in general, that is, the mosquito. If we were to exemplify your answer, it would be like saying that mammals were the beings that killed the most human beings. Furthermore, there are not only bad microorganisms, but there are also good ones, plus most people don't hate them. Got it? It doesn't mean that your answer is wrong, but that it doesn't meet the requirements, because if it did, it would be enough to say that the being that killed the most human beings was an animal. The answer is very broad, but as you said, it's a riddle, so you can give any answer, but it doesn't mean that every answer is correct. yep the term pathigen should be more suitable than microbes but riddles be like that
